What a wonderful day!!  The sun shone most of the time and the crowd was in a fantastic mood – there were literally thousands and thousands of people there.  John and I went with the group from Eldon, and I was lucky enough to be asked to carry their banner.  It is actually quite heavy and it was nerve wracking turning at just the right moment to stand in front of the balcony where the ‘VIP’s’ were standing.   Our pipers were great as they led us through the streets to the main site.  It was much better than last year when we went by ourselves.  It’s amazing what difference a year can make.
